Legal rights? Dentist FORGOT to tell me to have brace taken off?

I have a fixed retainer also. It's a wire that is glued to the back of my teeth. It is permanent, and if it does come unglued, you should go back to the orthodontist to have it reglued. If you are having problems with your teeth, it's because you haven't been to the dentist in three years.
