How can we make Peter Pan fly?

My school drama dep. is doing Peter Pan. Our director/producer already told us that the characters WILL fly, we just aren't sure how. It is a private K-8 school. We are willing to spend a fair amount. How would we do this? My drama producer asked everyone to think about it because prep begins in April. Help, please!!!! (PS We need the following to fly: Peter, Tink, Wendy, Michael, John, and possibly a few others)
