EPIDEMIC QUESTION! Im wondering too much?

The recent epidemic that happened so far is swine flu. My family and I just cooked it 1 day ago. You are allowed to eat pig right? So I wanted to ask, how many people still eat pig even though you have heard about the disease you can get? If you do eat pig say yes:)
